I really like HP Instant Ink program, where I pay $4.95/month and I am kept in ink. I have not had any problems with the printer, it was easy to install, Prints, & Scans great, I do not use the fax feature. I have had the printer for a couple of months and it has been fantastic.

I use to stay away from HP printers due to all the print cartridges, but with the instant ink program I am really enjoying the printer, I did receive my 1st print cartridges, so when I need ink they are available. Thank-you HP. For years, due to poor penmanship, I have been typing addresses in Word documents, printing, then cutting out, then Scotch taping the address to the envelope. I finally got my fill of this time-consuming procedure and thought, 'there has to be a better way!' Well, I found it in the Dymo 450. It is very easy to set up and very easy to use. The best part is that the labels are sharper and more pristine than what I been getting from my laser printer.

6.6.3

A bonus is they appear to be smudge-proof and stick to the envelope better than any Avery label I have used. I have a retail store and will also be using the 450 to print shelf tags with UPC barcodes, which it does wonderfully. I doubt I have begun to scratch the surface of what this little gem can do, but I can. After much research, I was about to buy one of the QL-700 series label printers and saw Brother just released this model — so I took a chance. Wireless & Ethernet for shared network, check! Mac/Win for mixed use, check!

Can use any generic DK series labels, check! This also prints red along with black using labels that support it.Wireless to your Router/WiFi Setup (Brother does not win points here):1.

Menu WLAN OK2. WLAN On/Off = OK3. Network Mode = Infrastructure Mode4.

Infra Manual Setting = choose your SSID and enter your password.5. WLAN Status displays your network IP which you can enter into a browser tab to fine tune your printer settings via web interface. There are other numerous ways to connect via Ethernet, Wireless direct, USB and Bluetooth.

The ability to add a battery pack for portability is odd but could be useful to those that need.
